Many of our couples choose The Casitas and the Central Coast because of its amazing location just halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. We think it was also amazing that Natalie and Mark started out their relationship living in southern and northern California cities: Natalie in San Diego and Mark in San Francisco.
Mark and Natalie met at a July 4 party in San Diego when Natalie was attending college. Obviously, the long distance didn’t stop their love connection.
San Luis Obispo was also very special to Natalie when it came time to plan their wedding. It turns out her roots are here. Her Dad is a local restaurateur, and Natalie had many happy memories of the area. We are so thrilled that they also fell in love with The Casitas Estate as their Central Coast wedding venue!
Our happy couple really put together a dream team of fabulous vendors, starting with Mike Larson, a photographer who splits his time between San Luis Obispo, Napa, and Tuscany. He really captures those Tuscan wine vibes like no one else. He’s also a pretty sensational person and has always shown a passion for our Casitas wedding couples.
Originally, when Natalie and Mark toured our estate they also were weighing the option to have their event at a private location of a mutual friend. They had smartly also hired Sandcastle Celebrations as their wedding planner, and they soon realized there are many features and benefits offered by a true wedding venue.
When they called us to confirm their choice, we were so excited that the date was still available here at The Casitas so we could host Natalie and Mark, as well as their families and guests, many of whom are locals we mutually know and admire.
The wedding was fun, and afterwards, the tequila was flowing and wonderful Mexican food made for quite the fiesta! We are thrilled for Natalie and Mark and enjoy following their adventures as Mr. and Mrs. now on Instagram.
